Your Careers Page
Most organizations are always looking for great people to come and work for them. So, here are few things you can do to make your careers page a good one.

signs.jpg List Open Positions
So many companies want to tell you all about them -- there culture, their benefits, etc. -- but make it hard to find the open positions. Yes culture, benefits and the like are important, but what most folks want to see, front and center, is job openings.

Provide A Salary Range
List the salary, or at least the salary range for each open position. That's an opinion that we share here at Digiwize. Why? Simply because it's a waste of time to have visitors apply for a position, interview and sometimes be offered the position without knowing the salary upfront. And listing the salary up front helps both the company and the candidate. Of course, all salaries can't be listed for various reasons. So, the bottom line is - use your best judgment or instincts, as recommend in the book Blink. They're usually right.

Make It Easy to Apply
At the very least, provide an email address applicants can use to send in their resumes. Also, list a mailing address so they can send in hard copies, if they choose.

Talk About the Culture
Let your visitors know about what kind of place it is to work… and be honest. Is it cool, laid-back. Or, is it intense, yet rewarding. Candidates want to know.

Provide Benefit Information
Do provide a good overview of benefits, including how much the company picks up in cost. Who's the provider? What kind of plan is it? Again, the more info you provide, the better.
